Awareness is having
knowledge
of something and having an
alert cognitive state in which you are
aware of yourself and aware of your
situation.
Awareness is the ability to directly
know and

To
be aware is having knowledge or
understanding of

What we Know
Situation Awareness
is the
perception of
environmental elements and
events with respect to
time or
space, the
comprehension of their
meaning, and the projection of
their status after some
variable has changed, such as time, or some other
variable, such as a
predetermined event. It is also a field of study
concerned with
understanding of the
environment critical to
decision-makers in complex, dynamic areas from aviation, air traffic
control, ship navigation, power plant operations, military command and
control, and
emergency services such as fire fighting and policing; to
more ordinary but nevertheless complex tasks such as driving an automobile
or riding a bicycle.

Context
Awareness is a property of
mobile devices that is
defined complementarily to location awareness. Whereas location may
determine how certain processes around a contributing device operate,
context may be applied more flexibly with mobile users, especially with
users of smart phones. Context awareness originated as a term from
ubiquitous computing or
as so-called pervasive computing which sought to deal with linking changes
in the environment with computer systems, which are otherwise static. The
term has also been applied to business theory in relation to contextual
application design and business process management issues.
Don't take awareness for granted. Everyone needs to learn how to
monitor their thoughts periodically. One
exercise is to stop several times a day and
take a moment to recall
what you were thinking about for the last 5 minutes. It's not unusual to
be doing something but thinking about something that is totally different
from what you are doing, like with
day dreaming.
We can't be aware of everything. This
is why things happen to us. When we are not totally aware of something, it
means that we are also not aware of the choices and options we might have
have to avoid
dangers. But just as long
as we continue to learn and progress, and just as long as we learn from
our mistakes, we can be a lot more aware of everything around us, which
means that we will suffer less and we will suffer less often from the
unexpected things that happen to us. You can't be aware of everything, but
the more aware you are of things, the greater your chances will be for success.

Abstract
Meta Awareness or
metacognition describes a phenomenon where a person becomes aware of
one's own awareness, and has cognition about cognition, and is thinking
about thinking or knowing about knowing.
Sentience is the capacity to
feel, perceive, or experience
subjectivity.
The state of elementary or
undifferentiated consciousness. The faculty through which the external
world is
apprehended.
The readiness to perceive
sensations.
Shift in Consciousness happens when the
accumulation of knowledge makes a person finally
realize the importance
of what they have learned.
Altered State of Consciousness is any condition which is significantly
different from a
normal waking state.
Being Awake does not mean
that you're Conscious.
Artificial Consciousness is a field related to
artificial intelligence and
cognitive robotics. Synthesized consciousness. Neuroscience hypothesizes
that consciousness is generated by the interoperation of various parts of
the brain, called the neural correlates of consciousness or NCC, though
there are challenges to that perspective. Proponents of AC believe it is
possible to construct systems (e.g., computer systems) that can emulate
this NCC interoperation.
Unconscious -
Sub-Conscious
(automatic mode) -
SubliminalSupraliminal is
existing
above the threshold of consciousness that is required for
conscious perception, or above the threshold that is required to elicit a
response. Being above the threshold of perception of a
stimulus and being adequate to evoke a
response or induce a
sensation.
Qualia are individual instances of subjective, conscious
experience.
The Mind.
Objectivity -
Validity
Subject in philosophy is a being who has a unique consciousness and/or
unique personal
experiences, or an entity that has a relationship with
another entity that exists outside of itself (called an "
object"). A
subject is an
observer and an object is a thing
observed. This concept is
especially important in continental philosophy, where 'the
subject' is a
central term in debates over human autonomy and the
nature of the self.
Person, Place or Thing.
Binding Problem is how the brain
segregates elements in complex
patterns of
sensory input so that they are
allocated to be seen as discrete objects. In other words, when looking
at a blue square and a yellow circle, what neural mechanisms ensure that
the square is perceived as blue and the circle as yellow, and not vice
versa? The segregation problem is sometimes called BP1. Secondly, there is
the combination problem: the problem of how objects, background and
abstract or emotional features are combined into a single experience. The
combination problem is sometimes called BP2. However, the difference
between these two problems is not always clear. Moreover, the historical
literature is often ambiguous as to whether it is addressing the
segregation or the combination problem.
Integrated information theory attempts to explain what
consciousness is and why it might be associated with certain physical
systems.
Spatial
Intelligence (perspective).
Physical Paradox is an apparent
contradiction in
physical descriptions of the universe.
Emergence occurs when an entity is observed to have properties its
parts do not have on their own. These properties or behaviors emerge only
when the parts interact in a wider whole. For example, smooth forward
motion emerges when a bicycle and its rider interoperate, but neither part
can produce the behavior on their own. Emergent phenomenon is an extension
of this self-organization phenomenon. However, there are some differences
between them. Self-organization is the one-way formation of macroscopic
order from micro dynamics, whereas emergent phenomenon is the circulation
of recurrent information from macro to micro, and vice versa.
The Observer and the Observed are One;
the
thinker and his thoughts are one. To experience
the thinker and his
thought as one is very arduous for the thinker is ever taking shelter
behind his thought; he separates himself from his thoughts to safeguard
himself, to give himself continuity, permanency; he modifies or changes
his thoughts, but he remains. This pursuit of thought apart from himself,
this changing, transforming it leads to
illusion. The thinker is his
thought;
the thinker and his thoughts are not two separate processes.
The questioner asks if awareness is different from the object of
awareness. We generally regard our thoughts as being apart from ourselves;
we are not aware of the thinker and his thought as one. This is precisely
the difficulty. After all, the qualities of the self are not separate from
the self; the self is not something apart from its thoughts, from its
attributes.
The self is put together, made up, and the self is not when
the parts are dissolved. But in illusion the self separates itself from
its qualities in order to protect itself, to give itself continuity,
permanency. It takes refuge in its qualities through separating itself
from them. The self asserts that it is this and it is that; the self, the
I, modifies, changes, transforms its thoughts, its qualities, but this
change only gives strength to the self, to its protective walls. But if
you are aware deeply you will perceive that the thinker and his thoughts
are one; the observer is the observed. To experience this actual
integrated fact is extremely difficult and right meditation is the way to
this integration.
Jiddu Krishnamurti (wiki).
Do other animals have consciousness?
Yes, but not the same kind of consciousness as humans, or do they have the
same type of conscious experience as humans do. Do plants have
consciousness? Yes, but not the same kind of consciousness that humans
experience. Humans themselves can experience consciousness differently
from one person to the next. A
brain
injury can have an affect on
consciousness.
Education, culture,
drugs and the environment can also have
affects
on consciousness. Consciousness can be seen as being a
mechanistic process of
the brain, but each person would describe their consciousness a little
differently, which means that we are far from understanding consciousness.
We are just beginning to understand our own
consciousness, and humans know of only one type of consciousness. It seems
impossible to experience or even
imagine other types of consciousness,
especially when you already have your own unique type of consciousness.
Any comparison would be extremely difficult to describe. You would have to
be born into a particular consciousness in order to experience it, but
even then, how would you describe it if you are not an intelligent adult
human being? How would you understand a whole new set of senses that you
have no idea how they are supposed to be interpreted? You may be able to
temporally occupy another life form, but you will not experience the
consciousness of that being, only experience it from within your own
consciousness. Like a
near death experience.
You experienced something that can only be explained by having
experience with being alive and being
human. Dreams can seem real, but
dreams are not real when
compared to our
reality when we're fully awake.
Dreams only seem real when we're having them, they don't seem real when
we're trying to explain them when we're awake. You can say that the dream
was real and that you had a real dream, but you can't explain what
real
means when you're dreaming. It's like trying to explain thoughts when you
don't have a
language or the
words needed to describe what thoughts are.
Awareness is a instrument of the brain. The brain
developed in a way that it gives a person the ability to access
learned information and
past experiences and then apply that
information and past experiences to a present moment of thought
or action, an action that will hopefully produce a
positive
outcome. Awareness is having a good idea about what is going to
happen in the
future. One of the effects of awareness is that sometimes
a person will experience
euphoria and sometimes feel overwhelmed with what is
happening, internally or externally.
We have no idea how awareness works, we only know of some of its
affects and abilities.
I can say I was aware of something. I could also say my
awareness was not what I thought it was. You could also say that
you are aware of the process of awareness.
Aware of being
Aware.
Metacognition
or
paradoxical?
But being aware of something does not necessarily mean that you
understand it. I'm aware of my bad habit but I do nothing to try
to control it. I'm aware of the abuse but I do nothing to stop
it.
Global Neuronal Workspace Theory
predicts that conscious presence is a nonlinear function of stimulus
salience; i.e., a gradual increase in stimulus visibility should be
accompanied by a sudden transition of the neuronal workspace into a
corresponding activity pattern.
Posterior
Cortical Hot Zone includes sensory cortical areas in the parietal,
temporal, and
occipital lobes.
It is the “sensory” cortex, much as the frontal cortex is the “action”
cortex. When parts of the posterior cortex are damaged, whole modalities
of sensory experience disappear from both waking and dreaming.
Awareness is being aware of the
moment using 50% of your focusing abilities. And then using your
past experiences 20%, and using your calculations of the future 20%, and
10% is used for anything random. Most of your focus needs to be in the
moment, if not, who knows where you are? Living in the past? Consumed
about the future? Or thinking about something totally random?
Do you remember your first
memory? Was that the day your
brain developed enough to have
the ability to store and retrieve past experiences and
knowledge, thus your first memory was formed?
Study shows that there is a critical period for
episodic learning and
that during this period, the
hippocampus
develops enough to learn to become able to
efficiently process and store memories long-term.
Childhood Amnesia
(memory loss)
Is awareness related to the
Theory of Mind? This
is probably one of the first steps to building your awareness. This is
also related to the process we call learning. Awareness increases with
knowledge and experiences, why?

should be asking themselves that same question. When do you become

Beyond our Senses
Externalism states that the
conscious mind is not only the
result of what is going on inside the nervous system or the brain, but
also what occurs or exists outside the subject. It is contrasted with
internalism which holds that the mind emerges from neural activity alone.
Externalism is a belief that the mind is not just the brain or functions of the brain.
Externalization is an unconscious
defense mechanism by which
an individual "
projects" his or her own internal characteristics onto the
outside world, particularly onto other people. For example, a patient who
is overly argumentative might instead perceive others as argumentative and
himself as
blameless. Like other defense mechanisms, externalization is a
protection against anxiety and is, therefore, part of a healthy, normally
functioning mind. However, if taken to excess, it can lead to the
development of a neurosis. Externalization can also be used in the context
of a corporation. A corporation that
externalizes its costs onto society
and the environment is
not taking full responsibility
and
ownership of these costs. An example might be the
discharge of untreated toxic waste
into a river where people wash and fish.
Internalize is part of one's nature by learning or
unconscious
assimilation.
Internalization describes the psychological outcome of a
conscious
mind reasoning about a specific subject; the subject is internalized, and
the
consideration of the subject is internal. Internalization of ideals
might take place following religious conversion, or in the process of,
more generally, moral conversion. Internalization is directly associated
with learning within an organism or business and recalling what has been
learned.
Neural Correlate of a content of
experience is any bodily
component, such as an electro-neuro-biological state or the state assumed
by some biophysical subsystem of the brain, whose presence necessarily and
regularly
correlates with such a specific content of experience.

Activism (awoke).
Wakefulness is a daily recurring brain state and state of
consciousness in which an individual is conscious and engages in coherent
cognitive and behavioral responses to the external world such as
communication, ambulation, eating, and sex. Being awake is the opposite of
the state of being
asleep in which
most external inputs to the brain are excluded from neural processing.
Hypnagogic (sleeping).
Self Conscious is an acute sense of
self-awareness. It is a
preoccupation with oneself, as opposed to the philosophical state of
self-awareness, which is the awareness that one exists as an individual
being; although some writers use both terms interchangeably or
synonymously.
Self Awareness is the capacity for introspection and the
ability to
Recognize Oneself as an individual
separate from the environment and
other individuals.
Self Perception asserts that people develop their
attitudes (when there is no
previous attitude due to a lack of experience, etc.—and the emotional
response is ambiguous) by observing their own behavior and concluding what
attitudes must have caused it.

Telepresence refers to a set of technologies which allow a person to
feel as if they were present, to
give
the appearance of being present, or to have an effect, via
telerobotics, at a place other than their true location. Telepresence
requires that the users' senses be provided with such stimuli as to give
the feeling of being in that other location. Additionally, users may be
given the ability to affect the
remote location. In this
case, the user's position, movements, actions, voice, etc. may be sensed,
transmitted and duplicated in the remote location to bring about this
effect. Therefore information may be traveling in both directions between
the user and the remote location. A popular application is found in
telepresence videoconferencing, the highest possible level of
videotelephony. Telepresence via video deploys greater technical
sophistication and improved fidelity of both sight and sound than in
traditional

extended the capabilities of videoconferencing beyond the boardroom for

or body) (rupa), sensations (or feelings, received from form) (vedana),
perceptions (samjna), mental activity or formations (sankhara), and
consciousness (vijnana).
Eight Consciousness's is a classification developed in the
tradition of the Yogacara school of Buddhism. They enumerate the five
senses, supplemented by the mind, defilements of the mind, and finally the
fundamental store-house consciousness, which is the basis of the other
seven.

Merleau-Ponty expounds his thesis of "the primacy of perception".

Cotard Delusion is a person who believes they are

Hemispatial Neglect is a neuropsychological condition in
which, after
damage to one
hemisphere of the brain is sustained, a deficit in attention to and
awareness of one side of space is observed. It is defined by the inability
of a person to process and perceive stimuli on one side of the body or
environment, where that inability is not due to a lack of sensation.
Hemispatial neglect is very commonly contralateral to the damaged
hemisphere, but instances of ipsilesional neglect (on the same side as the
lesion) have been reported.
Selective
Perception is the tendency not to notice and more quickly forget
stimuli that cause emotional discomfort or
contradicts our prior
beliefs.
Bias.
Inattentional Blindness or perceptual blindness, is a psychological
lack of attention that is
not associated with any vision defects or
deficits. It may be further defined as the event in which an individual
fails to recognize an unexpected stimulus that is in plain sight. When it
simply becomes impossible for one to attend to all the stimuli in a given
situation, a temporary blindness effect can take place as a result; that
is, individuals fail to see objects or stimuli that are unexpected and
quite often salient, which is something that thrusts itself into
attention.

Naive
Realism is a philosophy of mind rooted in a theory of
perception that claims that the senses provide us with direct
awareness of the external world. In contrast, some forms of
idealism assert that no world exists apart from mind-dependent
ideas and some forms of skepticism say we cannot trust our
senses.

Tibetan Buddhists believe that everything that is experienced really
only happens inside your head. In order to reach ultimate enlightenment
through the mind, however, people must gain control over the essential
energy that animates all existence,
prana;
the primary way to tame that tiger is by controlling the mind. Adherents,
therefore, take two courses on their journey
to perfect enlightenment,
the Path of Means and the Path of Liberation.
Dualism - Two Sides
Dualism
implies that there are two
moral opposites at
work, independent of any interpretation of what might be "moral" and
independent of how these may be represented.
Dualism denotes the
state of two parts. The term dualism was originally coined to denote
co-eternal binary opposition, a meaning that is preserved in metaphysical
and philosophical duality discourse but has
been more generalized in other usages to indicate a
system which contains
two essential parts.
Dualism or
Duality is the position that mental phenomena are, in some
respects, non-physical, or that the
mind and body are not identical. Thus,
it encompasses a set of views about the relationship between mind and
matter, and between subject and object, and is contrasted with other
positions, such as physicalism and enactivism, in the mind–body problem.
Two Sides to Every Story.
Monism is the view that attributes
oneness or
singleness.

Philosophy
Materialism
is a form of philosophical monism which holds that matter is the
fundamental substance in nature, and that all phenomena, including mental
phenomena and consciousness, are results of material interactions.
Physicalism is the ontological thesis that "everything is physical",
that there is "nothing over and above" the physical, or that everything
supervenes on the physical. Physicalism is a form of ontological monism—a
"one substance" view of the nature of reality as opposed to a
"two-substance" (dualism) or "many-substance" (pluralism) view. Both the
definition of "physical" and the meaning of physicalism have been debated.
Type Physicalism is a physicalist theory, in the
philosophy of mind. It asserts
that mental events can be grouped into types, and can then be correlated
with types of physical events in the brain. For example, one type of
mental event, such as "mental pains" will, presumably, turn out to be
describing one type of physical event (like C-fiber firings). (also known
as reductive materialism, type identity theory, mind–brain identity theory
and identity
theory of mind).
Non-Physical Entity is a spirit or being that
exists outside
of physical reality. Their existence divides the philosophical school of
physicalism from the schools of
idealism
that believes that reality is fundamentally mental, mentally constructed,
or otherwise immaterial. And
dualism that states that the mind and body are not identical.
Abstract.
Cognitive Biology regards natural
cognition as a
biological function. It is based on the theoretical assumption that every
organism—whether a single cell or multicellular—is continually engaged in
systematic acts of cognition coupled with intentional behaviors, i.e., a
sensory-motor coupling.
Quantum Mind
is a
group of hypotheses propose that classical mechanics cannot explain
consciousness. It posits that quantum mechanical phenomena, such as
quantum entanglement and superposition, may play an important part in the
brain's function and could form the basis of an explanation of
consciousness.
Being Awake does not always mean that you're Conscious
You can't be aware of everything all the time, so we will
always have
blind spots, things that we can not see. Even when we
multitask or find
ourselves
daydreaming,
thinking to ourselves,
worrying or
praying, we know
that we can only effectively
focus on one thing at a time. We can do
several things at once, but we can only be fully aware of one of those things at
a time. Which is most likely by design, because we would be
over whelmed
with information, so much so, that we would be unable to live in the moment
and everything would become a blur. We have to apply our focus. And focus can
be manually operated. So it can be
modified to
adapt to our needs. But
just having the ability to focus does not mean that you are focusing on
what's important. First you have to master the skill of focusing and then
you have to learn what you should be focusing on.
You have to know and
understand the things that need your attention. And if you can't see
something or recognize a problem, then you will have a blind spot. We can
only focus on things that we see or understand. That means we have to
understand the value of
learning, which means that we also have to
understand knowledge, information and
language. I can't do everything, but
I can do a lot of things.

Clouding of Consciousness is when a person is
slightly less wakeful
or aware than normal. They are not as aware of time or their surroundings
and find it difficult to pay attention. People describe this subjective
sensation as their mind being "foggy". (also known as
brain fog or mental fog).
Cognitive Decline -
Confusion.
Just because you're aware of some things, but not aware of other
things, that doesn't make you stupid.
You can't be aware of
everything all the time. There is always more things happening
around you then you are capable of being aware of. But what is
great about humans, is that we can
choose what to be aware of.
So we can
focus more on
what's important and valuable, and not
have to worry about
the hundreds of other things that are
happening at the same time. There are many things happening
around us all the time. There are many things happening inside
of us all the time. But we can choose what to be aware of. And
how you become aware of something, is by learning everything
that you can about the thing that you are trying to understand.
And the more things that you can understand, the more things you
will be aware of. Awareness increases with knowledge.

Reality
Your awareness increases as you learn more, but not always,
because it depends on how you perceive or understand new
knowledge, and how you apply that new knowledge to old knowledge
and old experiences. Knowing who you are is all based on what
you know. And what you know about yourself is based on your
perception of the knowledge and experiences you have had in your
life up to this moment. Awareness is knowing what you are
sensing, seeing, feeling, hearing, touching, smelling and
tasting.
When I first wake up after sleeping, I am not
aware of everything, or am I aware of any changes that occurred during my
sleep. I usually start feeling like myself after I have gone through my
morning routine. I'm mostly in automatic pilot when I first wake up.
When drugs change your
perspective.
Are you aware of what
you are aware of? Just because you see
something or hear something, this does not mean that you are aware it and
understand it.
You can't be aware of something if you don't know what it means. If your
mind is thinking of something else, then your not
focused on anything except your own thoughts. You can remember seeing
something, but you were not paying attention to it. The abilities of
Awareness and Attention are limited, especially when you are not aware of
that 'being aware' is a skill. Understanding awareness and focus is just
the beginning. You also have to understand what exactly you are being
aware of, and also explain what you are focusing on. Having an innate
ability is only valuable when you know how to use that power effectively
and ethically.
I See a lot of People Sleep Walking,
because most people are not fully awake or fully aware. Awareness is something that you
have to deliberately activate, because awareness is not an automatic
function. Awareness is a learned skill. You have to understand exactly
what you're seeing and also accurately understand your thoughts and what
you're thinking. Just because you wake up after sleeping this doesn't mean
that you are fully awake and aware. Awareness has to be manually operated
and be in your control, which means that you have to learn how your
awareness operates and you have to learn how to control your awareness.
Awareness is using a combination of your senses to focus on information
being transmitted from your environment, sometimes focusing on just one
particular aspect of the environment that is of some importance or
something that you wish to learn more about. Awareness is also using a
combination of your senses to focus on information being transmitted from
inside your body and from inside your mind. And you can only do one thing
at a time, because you can't be fully aware of things around you when you
are focusing and being fully aware of yourself and what's happening inside
you. Awareness has its limitations, which is something else that you need
to learn more about. "I don't see Dead People, I just see people who are
not fully awake, so I see Bed People".
Writers Blindness.
How to Tell if a Brain is Awake? Certain EEG features might not always
accurately capture the level of consciousness in surgical patients
prefrontal cortex, which has been shown to play a role in attention,
self-processing and coordinating consciousness. The brain of someone in
REM sleep is almost identical to an awake brain.
Half Asleep (not fully
awake).
Predictable
is always present in our world, but
unpredictable is also always
present, mostly because we can never be aware of everything
that's around us. In order to be effective you have to be
selective and focus on one or two things at a time. So does this
mean that life is too unpredictable, no, it just means that we
need more people working as a team with each person being aware
and monitoring that particular area of the world. And then each
person reports that information to a central unit, or you.
We
already do this to a certain degree. If we defined all the
things we should be paying attention too, that are important or
dangerous, and if everyone worked as a team focusing on all the
possibilities, then we would have more certainty in the world
and less uncertainty in our lives.
Millions of Sensors keeping

being attacked
so that you have a chance to put up your guard in order to
defend
yourself. Some battle wounds take a long time to heal so you need to
defend yourself as best as you can, Touché."
"But just being aware does not mean that you
understand. "Awareness is just the first step in many steps
that are part of a long process called learning."

aware."
"The more things you know and understand,
the more things you can be aware of."

"Is it just you? Or is it a premonition? Or
maybe an indication of something? You have to be able to tell
when it's just you, and not something serious, otherwise, you'll
be always worrying about things that only exist in your mind,
and that is the type of
stress that will do more harm then a real problem that you
may encounter, or ,more then an actual stressful moment that you
may face."
"Attention can be thought of as what you allow your eyes to

Spatial intelligence.
People are sometimes unaware of
how they feel and unaware of what they see.
Consciousness
does not happen
Automatically. Consciousness is something that
you initiate. In a sense you are
directing your focus inward or
outward for a particular reason. But just because you are
conscious, that
does not say that you are conscious of the right things, or for
the right reasons, or in the most accurate way possible.
Consciousness is a process that we are just beginning to
understand.
A gift that we are just learning how to use.
Depersonalization is an anomaly of
Self Awareness. It can consist of a
Reality or detachment within the
self, regarding one's
mind or body, or being
a detached observer of oneself. Subjects feel they have changed, and the
world has become vague, dreamlike, less real, or lacking in significance.
It can be a disturbing experience.
"Just under half the time, about 46.9% to be exact, people

Confusion
"We are the mind, and the mind is us. We
can examine the mind and the body, we can even examine the soul,
which means we can
examine the examiner."
Information and
knowledge gives a person a profound awareness, the only down
side is that the awareness makes you aware of the bad as well as
the good, and how you react will depend on your level of
knowledge.
Familiarity Heuristic is an easy-to-compute procedure or
"rule of thumb" that people use when forming beliefs, judgments or
decisions.
Bias.
"It's easy for people to disconnect from
reality, especially when
reality is not clearly defined."
The bottom line is, you can't
be aware of everything because there is only so much that you
can be aware of at one time. And you can only be aware of the
things that are known to you. So the more you know, the more
things you will be aware of. But even then, just because you are
aware of more things does not necessarily mean that you can be
aware of those things at all times. You can't be aware of
everything at once, so you have to be
Selective and choose a small number of things that you need
to be aware of at that moment in time.
Attention -
Focus
-
Priorities Sooner or later you will have to change your focus...You only have so much
processing
power, so you have to use it wisely.
I know that I'm
not always aware of certain things from time to time, which is normal,
because I know that we can't always be aware of everything all the time, especially
things that can have an effect on our lives. We have to
focus and pay attention to
certain things that we feel are important to us, which
filters out other things
that are just as important. So we need to
balance our
priorities and learn
how to
multitask, especially when we need to pay attention to several things at the
same time, or do things within the same time period. Humans are not always
effective at being fully aware all the time. There are many things in
our
bodies and in the environment that can effect human awareness and
interfere with our ability to be diligent and be in control. And on top of
that, humans can be
spontaneous and be very
adaptable. So we need our focus
to change at times and we need to be open to changes. And we need to see
our
distractions as just
signals that we can either ignore or pay
attention to. We need to separate the noise from the signals, especially
the signals that carry
important information. But this is not always easy. So I like to imagine that
there is some form of a deity who is more aware than me and knows my
future, so they help me out from time to time. I believe this because there is
no way that I could do this life without any help from some divine
intervention,
because I'm not that smart. So my hope is that someone else is
picking up
the slack, with the slack being my vulnerabilities and the sometimes
uncontrollable dangers of life and the environment. So why me? Am I the
chosen one? Or am I just some lucky and random phenomenon. This is one of
the reasons why
people believe in a God. Having something or someone outside our awareness
just makes this story more sensible. To think that there's no purpose in
life is not thinking at all. To think that there's nothing makes no sense when
you are using your thinking to think of nothing. It's a contradiction. I
think, there for, I think there's more.

It's always working to control your organs and bodily functions while your
conscious mind goes to sleep. That being said, your subconscious still
picks up on everything, still hearing and processing while in a
sleeping state. The
subconscious mind controls heartbeat, blood circulation, regulates
digestion and elimination. In sleep our conscious mind becomes dormant
while the subconscious mind stays fully awake. Science shows that we still
hear and process everything even while asleep. You can reprogram your
subconscious mind in 6 weeks, but if you have poor habits, limiting
success, it can take up to 1 year or longer to reprogram your mind

When your thinking and mood changes,
it's just
weird. Something just
comes over you. And most of the time you're not even aware
of it. It's like your mind decides to take a journey, but
doesn't bother to wake you up and let you know about it. You
don't even know how it starts, but you know sometimes when it
ends. That's when you realize and you ask yourself that
question, "
where did my mind just go?" I don't remember telling
my
mind to wonder off. So it dawned on me, I have nothing that
verifies or detects when my awareness changes. So I needed a

We all believe that we have
total control over
our own
minds, but the truth is that we don't have full control
over our minds, we know our minds seem to act own their own at
times, and it's only when we are aware, that we can question
ourselves whether the
thoughts or the actions are accurate. Everyone has an on
Autopilot,
but too many times we're looking out the window day dreaming,
and only when an alarm goes off, do we realize that we are the
pilot, and that the
Autopilot
is not in control, we are in
control, but not when we're day dreaming. But we need an
Autopilot
because we can't have our hands on the wheel all the time, but
since an
Autopilot
has no brain, we have to find balance without losing control or
diminishing our awareness.
You have to ask yourself a few times a
day..'"Is what I'm doing absolutely necessary at this particular
moment in time?"
What are my
priorities? How much time do I have?
The human brain was designed to make sense of
what ever reality or environment it is born into. This gives a
human incredible survival abilities and also gives a human many
ways to adapt. But this cognitive ability also has
vulnerabilities, because humans can be easily fooled into

I believe there's more to this thing that we call intuition. We
have learned that there is many different levels of
communication happening all around us. Information is being
transmitted in many different forms, like
resonances,
oscillations and
frequencies. We know that certain animals have evolved to
understand and use certain forms of communication, like
using magnetic fields to navigate, or using electrical and
chemical signals to communicate with each other. Some
information is being received through our 5 senses. So that
means there's a lot of information being transmitted that is
beyond our
5 Senses.
But this information is not beyond human consciousness. The mind
seems to have its own ability to receive information without
using the
5 Senses,
how it works is unknown. But at the speed in which we are
learning, especially in this 21st century, I would say that we
will learn sometime soon, even if we eventfully learn that it
wasn't what we thought it was, because we might not be receiving
signals directly from the source, but maybe indirectly from
plants, animals, space or even the earth. Some people might say
that
God is
trying to communicate with us, which is fine by me. I'm more
interested in understanding these messages. Because if we can
understand the messages, and their importance, then we would
have a better chance of figuring out, who or what, is sending us
messages, whether directly or indirectly. So of course I did a
search on the internet to find out what would be some of the
different ways that we could be receiving information, beyond
our 5 senses, on other
Levels of awareness.

Parapsychology is a field of study concerned with the
investigation of paranormal and
psychic phenomena which include telepathy,
precognition, clairvoyance, psychokinesis, near-death experiences,
reincarnation, apparitional experiences, and other paranormal claims. It
is often identified as pseudoscience.
Ganzfeld Experiment
is a technique used in parapsychology which claims to be able to test
individuals for extrasensory perception (ESP). The ganzfeld experiments
are among the most recent in parapsychology for testing telepathy.

Electromagnetic Theories of Consciousness
proposes that
consciousness can be understood as an
electromagnetic phenomenon.
Magnetic Tunnel Junction is a magnetoresistive effect that
occurs in a magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ), which is a component
consisting of two ferromagnets separated by a thin insulator. If the
insulating layer is thin enough (typically a few nanometers), electrons
can tunnel from one
ferromagnet into the other. Since this process is
forbidden in classical physics, the tunnel magnetoresistance is a strictly
quantum mechanical phenomenon.
Cell Junction is a type of structure that exists within the
tissue of some
multicellular organisms, such as animals. Cell junctions
consist of multiprotein complexes that provide contact between neighboring
Cells or between a cell and the extracellular matrix. They also build up
the paracellular barrier of epithelia and control the paracellular
transport. Cell junctions are especially abundant in epithelial tissues.
Gap Junction may also be called a nexus or macula
communicans. When found in nerves it may also be called an
electrical
synapse. While an ephapse has some similarities to a gap junction, by
modern definition the two are different. Gap junctions are a specialized
intercellular connection between a multitude of animal cell-types. They
directly connect the cytoplasm of two cells, which allows various
molecules, ions and electrical impulses to directly pass through a
regulated gate between cells. One gap junction channel is composed of two
connexons (or hemichannels), which connect across the intercellular space.
Gap junctions are analogous to the plasmodesmata that join plant cells.
Gap junctions occur in virtually all tissues of the body, with the
exception of adult fully developed skeletal muscle and mobile cell types
such as sperm or erythrocytes. Gap junctions, however, are not found in
simpler organisms such as sponges and slime molds.
Virtual Connection is a means of transporting data over a
packet switched computer network in such a way that it appears as though
there is a dedicated physical layer link between the source and
destination end systems of this data.
Virtual Circuit.
Telecommunication Circuit is any line, conductor, or other
conduit by which information is transmitted.
Microtubule
are involved in maintaining the structure of the cell and, together with
microfilaments and intermediate filaments, they form the cytoskeleton.
They also make up the internal structure of cilia and flagella. They
provide platforms for intracellular transport and are involved in a
variety of cellular processes, including the movement of secretory
vesicles, organelles, and intracellular macromolecular assemblies (see
entries for dynein and kinesin). They are also involved in cell division
(by mitosis and meiosis) and are the major constituents of mitotic
spindles, which are used to pull eukaryotic chromosomes apart.

"Though it seems that I know that I

will know that I know that I know....You Know?"
Did you ever have get that feeling that
something incredible was going to happen? You feel good, you
feel calmness, you feel peaceful, you have this feeling that
something good was going to happen. And in that moment, you are
some how connected to that future happiness.
Did you ever have get that feeling that someone
was watching you? Our brains can be sensitive to what our conscious
awareness isn't. An area called the
amygdala, thought to be
responsible for processing emotions and information about faces, can be
more active when we look at faces with direct, rather than averted, gaze.
When we are being watched, the amygdala responds, even though he didn't
know it.
Blind Sight -
Mass Surveillance.
A lot of times your
Brain is learning
things without you even knowing it. Your brain does this because
it has too, because you can't be aware of everything that is
happening around you, or can you be aware of everything that is
happening inside you. This gives humans the ability to focus on
what's important without being overwhelmed with everything that
your body and mind is doing,
similar to
processes in a computer. But you can be aware of things that
you choose to be aware of as long as you know how. And that is
where the power of the mind can be used effectively. But you
need the right knowledge and information in order to do it.
There is more
to having an elevated consciousness, or a higher level of
awareness, or realizing your potential, or realizing the state
you're in, or realizing your state of mind. There is still a lot
of information and knowledge to be gained in order to fully
understand what having 'awareness' really means. You cannot
willfully manifest yourself into a new world. There's a lot of
learning, a lot of experiencing, and a lot of information and
knowledge to acquire. You cannot just download enormous amounts
of information and knowledge from the universes simply by
opening your mind. This is not to say that you will not
experience something profound or meaningful on your spiritual
journey's, it's just that
meditation can only take
you so far. Though traveling through our spiritual selves may be
limitless, and the powers of our minds be tremendous, in order
to fully experience and learn from our journeys, we must first
acquire the
necessary knowledge and information,
so as we travel through the physical world we have the ability
to see with our minds as well as feel with our bodies. The
physical world has many responsibilities, and sadly
the physical world
also has many dangers. Feeling separated from our physical self
is a nice feeling, but this does not mean that you are
disconnected or excused from the responsibilities of our earth
and from the life that we share with others. Our spaceships may
be grand and magnificent, but we cannot ignore the maintenance
that our spaceships require, or ignore
the maintenance
that our world requires. Enjoy the fight, but don't forget that
there is always a landing.
New Age is said that when humanity lived in an age of great
technological advancement and spiritual wisdom, it has entered a period of
spiritual degeneracy, which will be remedied through the establishment of
a coming Age of Aquarius, from which the movement gets its name. There is
also a strong focus on healing, particularly using forms of alternative
medicine, and an emphasis on a "New Age science" which seeks to unite
science and spirituality. It is also a belief in a holistic form of
divinity which imbues all of the universe, including human beings
themselves.
Anthropocentrism is the belief that considers human beings
to be the
most significant entity of the
universe and interprets or regards the world in terms of human values and
experiences.

Signals - Are You Receiving This?
Maybe our
consciousness is being transmitted to us from outside our body, and our body
is just the

Consciousness is not
necessarily a product of the
brain, but
the brain does allow consciousness to grow and develop. And consciousness
can only be understood when you acquire enough knowledge and information
that would help you to
realize
the existence of consciousness, and it also helps to have a
healthy brain and body. You could never make a
mechanical computerized machine that could experience human consciousness,
because after you would try to make such a machine, you would eventually
realize that the human brain is the perfect machine, and there is no point
in trying to
reinvent the wheel. So where does consciousness come from?
The brain gives us the ability to
experience consciousness, but
consciousness does not seem to come from the brain itself. So maybe the brain is just a
receiver of consciousness. Like a
radio receives a signal. But that's just
a over simplified explanation. It seems likely that someone built the
human brain in order to experience consciousness in this unique way. I can't
even imagine what consciousness would be like without the human brain,
because it
would definitely not be the same as it is now. But one thing is for
certain, the more knowledge and information you have, the more amazing
consciousness becomes. And if you had no knowledge, information or
language, then consciousness would not exist, or at the least, its
existence would never be realized. So maybe the brain is the incubator for
consciousness. A place where consciousness becomes into being and becomes
a thinking
mind. And maybe
this process happens more than once. Maybe if we live more than one
lifetime, each lifetime consciousness would become more and more defined.
And if that is the case, then we are extremely close to realizing the full
potential of consciousness. But only if we keep learning, and only if we
stop pretending that we know enough. Consciousness can only survive and
thrive if we keep learning and keep advancing and progressing.

Oracle
is considered to provide wise and
insightful counsel or prophetic
predictions or precognition of the future, inspired by the gods. As such
it is a form of divination.
Prophet
is an individual who has claimed to have been contacted by the
supernatural or the divine, and to speak for them, serving as an
intermediary with humanity, delivering this newfound knowledge from the
supernatural source to other people.
Mythology
refers variously to the collected myths of a group of people or to the
study of such myths. Myths are the stories people tell to explain nature,
history and customs.
Astrologer

Hot Reading is
when the reader
uses information about the person receiving the reading
(for example, from
background research or overhearing a conversation) which the receiver
is not aware that the reader already knows. Hot reading is commonly used
in conjunction with cold reading (where no previously gathered information
is used) and can explain how a psychic reader can get a specific
claimed "hit" of accurate information.
Cold Reading is a
set of techniques used by mentalists, psychics, fortune-tellers, mediums,
illusionists (readers), and
scam artists to imply that the reader knows
much more about the person than the reader actually does. Without prior
knowledge, a practiced cold-reader can quickly obtain a great deal of
information by analyzing the person's
body language, age, clothing or
fashion, hairstyle, gender, sexual orientation, religion, race or
ethnicity, level of education, manner of speech, place of origin, etc.
Cold readings commonly employ
high-probability guesses, quickly picking up
on signals as to whether their guesses are in the right direction or not,
then emphasizing and reinforcing chance connections and quickly moving on
from missed guesses. Psychologists believe that this appears to work
because of the Forer effect and due to
confirmation biases within people.
Barnum Effect is a common psychological phenomenon whereby individuals
give high accuracy ratings to descriptions of their personality that
supposedly are tailored specifically to them, that are in fact
vague and
general enough to
apply to a wide range of people.

Mentalism is a
performing
art in which its practitioners, known as mentalists, appear to
demonstrate highly developed mental or intuitive abilities. Performances
may appear to include hypnosis, telepathy, clairvoyance, divination,
precognition, psychokinesis, mediumship, mind control, memory feats,
deduction, and rapid mathematics. Mentalists are sometimes categorized as
psychic entertainers, although that category also contains non-mentalist
performers such as psychic readers and bizzarists.
