Reality are the things in life that are commonly observed and verified to exist, things that are consistent and not random or influenced by conformity or mass hysteria. Something that is perceived as real and is physically experienced by the senses. Reality is relative.



Reality is all of your experiences and knowledge of the world that determine how things appear to you. The state of the world as it really is rather than as you might want it to be.

Real is something capable of being treated as fact and something that is being or occurring in actuality and having a verified existence and substance that coincides with reality. Real is something that is not an illusion, not fantasy, not imaginary or a feeling of intuition. Real is something that is no less than what is stated and worthy of a name and reflecting the essential or genuine character of something. Real is something that should not be taken lightly. Something fixed or immovable. Real in math is any rational or irrational number.

Corporeal is having material or physical form or substance. Affecting or characteristic of the body as opposed to the mind or spirit. Corporeal the physical substance or matter that has rest mass and (usually) also volume.

Realism is the state of being actual or real. The attribute of accepting the facts of life and favoring practicality and literal truth. In philosophy realism is the philosophical doctrine that physical objects continue to exist when not perceived and that abstract concepts exist independent of their names.

Realist is a person who accepts the world as it literally is and deals with it accordingly. A philosopher who believes that universals are real and exist independently of anyone thinking of them.

Material World refers to the physical world where we live, work and play, whereby all our natural senses, like sense of sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, movement, and feeling, are capable of grasping the concrete realities like people, places, things as they appear to us. Materialism.

Actual is existing in fact and not merely potential or possible. Taking place in reality and not pretended or imitated.

Tangible is something perceptible by the senses especially the sense of touch. Capable of being treated as fact.

Substance is real physical matter of which a person or thing consists. The choicest or most essential or most vital part of some idea or experience. The idea that is intended. What a communication that is about something is about. A particular kind or species of matter with uniform properties. The property of holding together and retaining its shape. Chemical Substance.

Embody is to represent something in bodily form or to represent or express something abstract in tangible form.

Construct is where the existence of the thing may be said to depend upon a subject's mind. This contrasts with a real object, where existence does not seem to depend on the existence of a mind. Matrix.

De facto is existing in fact whether with lawful authority or not. In reality or fact. De facto describes practices that exist in reality, even though they are not officially recognized by laws. Consensus Reality is generally agreed to be reality, based on a consensus view. We can, however, seek to obtain some form of consensus, with others, of what is real. We can use this consensus as a pragmatic guide, either on the assumption that it seems to approximate some kind of valid reality, or simply because it is more "practical" than perceived alternatives. Consensus reality therefore refers to the agreed-upon concepts of reality which people in the world, or a culture or group, believe are real (or treat as real), usually based upon their common experiences as they believe them to be; anyone who does not agree with these is sometimes stated to be "in effect... living in a different world." Throughout history this has also raised a social question as to the effects of a society in which all individuals do not agree upon the same reality. What is Reality? Things that we can, to the best of our knowledge, figure out and define by ways of Scientific Research and Experience. Using this particular method we cannot include personal beliefs, personal opinions or theory’s because these things cannot be easily confirmed. Though Religious Beliefs, Theory’s and personal opinions are essential in keeping our minds open, we should always have areas of research that stick to what definitions we know using the knowledge that we can confirm. This will help minimize confusion and misunderstandings. You don't have to know Physics or know the inner workings of an atom to help explain Reality, because the deeper you go, the farther away you will become to what is known. Not to say that these journeys are a waste of time. On the contrary we should always have as many people looking at as many possibilities as we can. Multiple Dimensions, Holograms and Religious Beliefs should never be ignored. And of course you can never be fully aware of everything that there is in this world. But at the least you should try to be aware of as many things as possible, and at the same time, confirm these things with as many people as possible. So the first thing to do is to define what criteria will be used to measure reality. Then get as many people you can to answer theses questions and thus end up with some kind of consensus for a basic definition for the word reality. Reality is best understood using some form of confirmation. Do you see what I see? Do you understand the way I understand? We cannot use one set of eyes to explain Reality. It’s not “Will it still be there if I’m not there to look at it?” Of course it will be. What do you think? You’re the only one who’s looking? And after all that, Reality is something that is continually evolving, so what might be considered reality today may not be reality tomorrow. Reality is not always a constant or is reality something that you can always be Aware of. Are there two realities?

It's like putting a photograph in front of a video surveillance camera so that the person looking at the video monitor thinks they are looking at a live video, but they are not. So now people can work behind the scenes without anyone seeing them. Blinding you from reality.

Kids and adults spend way too much time living in their own personal fantasy world then they do Reality. And the reason is that people are not even aware when they are in a fantasy world, because they have not yet totally defined what reality is. So the difference between reality and fantasy is blurred. You need to define these two things. And you need to practice awareness. You also need have a baseline, and you need to keep learning and experiencing. Potential.

Reality is a word to describe what is, and what may happen in the future. Humans have many methods for measuring and predicting what is, and what might happen. Reality was here before humans existed, because cause and effect has been measured in fossils of life forms predating humans. Don't confuse consciousness with reality. Because just being aware does not mean that you are living in reality. And don't think that you know what reality is, because reality for humans is based on what we have learned so far about our reality. So human reality is evolving and expanding as we learn more, thus reality will never stay totally the same for humans. Though reality looks weird and unpredictable at times, we know that the more we learn about reality, the less weird reality becomes, and the more predictable reality becomes. No matter how many dimensions that you can perceive, or what time scale or size scale you use to compare things too, you are only measuring reality, you are not totally defining what reality is. Even though there are an infinite amount of possibilities, this does not stop humans from using the knowledge that we have learned so far to measure what reality is today. And when we can confirm our reality with other people, we know that everything is not just in our minds. People who are blind or deaf still have similar realities to people who can see and hear. This is because humans have other methods for measuring reality, like using touch, taste, smell and feelings, as well as having other people helping them measure reality. So everyone has the ability to learn, and thus, everyone has other ways of constructing a reality. Even though each person experiences reality differently from one person to the next, this does not change the reality of the situation. Reality is learning about what our current state is. You can pretend that you don't live in reality, but that does not change reality, it only changes how you experience reality. We don't change reality, We change, as we learn more about what our reality is at this current time, but not necessarily what reality will be like tomorrow. Reality is learning, learning is reality. You can say that we can change reality, but we are not changing reality, we are changing what we have learned about what reality is, or what it's going to be. When we die, reality will still be here. Because when we see other people die, this does not change reality. It may change our experience with reality, but it will not change reality as a whole. Reality is learning, learning is reality.

Everyone Lives in Exile from Reality. People are being forced to live in a reality that is corrupt and dysfunctional. Mostly because of the greed of corporate criminals. To live in someone else's sick delusional fantasy is not living. It's murder.

Pragmatism rejects the idea that the function of thought is to describe, represent, or mirror reality. Instead, pragmatists consider thought an instrument or tool for prediction, problem solving and action. Pragmatists contend that most philosophical topics—such as the nature of knowledge, language, concepts, meaning, belief, and science—are all best viewed in terms of their practical uses and successes. The philosophy of pragmatism “emphasizes the practical application of ideas by acting on them to actually test them in human experiences.

When we use the word reality, we are not 100 percent defining something, because nothing is 100 percent definitive, and there is no full 100 percent guarantee for complete accuracy. But in order to make things easy and less complicated, we use labels as a tool to make communication more effective and more efficient. You can still get philosophical about reality if you want, but only when it's necessary. If we want to have a mutual understanding, we need to use a universal definition that helps us communicate. We are not saying that this particular definition is definitive and that there are no other variations, because there are other variations, but we only need them for certain situations when someone has difficulty understanding, or wants to express a concern, or, when new knowledge and information has been discovered that would require us to update our definition of Reality, or any other word for that matter.

A person's reality is closely related to how many questions that they can logically answer. For Example: Knowing that you need water to live, but also knowing how clean the water is? Knowing that you need food to live, but also knowing how healthy the food is? Knowing that the earth orbits around the sun, but also knowing why it does and how that effects humans here on earth? We should know the things that we have confirmed to be true, things that can be repeated in testing, a consensus of information and knowledge. But popularity is not always an accurate measurement for value, or how certain words are understood. Reality does not have a 'one meaning fits all' because reality is closely related to an individuals own perception and the education or level of knowledge they have acquired. So reality can have different meanings to different people. So the word 'Reality' cannot be used on its own. Reality must be defined by the person using the word "Reality", so they can be understood and people will know what they're saying when they use the word Reality in a sentence. Meanings.

Quasi Realities

Quasi is having some resemblance to what is real and being partly true to some degree or partly similar. Virtual Reality - Artificial Reality.

Allegory of the Cave describes a gathering of people who have lived chained to the wall of a cave all of their lives, facing a blank wall. The people watch shadows projected on the wall from things passing in front of a fire behind them, and they begin to give names to these shadows. The shadows are as close as the prisoners get to viewing reality. He then explains how the philosopher is like a prisoner who is freed from the cave and comes to understand that the shadows on the wall do not make up reality at all, for he can perceive the true form of reality rather than the mere shadows seen by the prisoners. Blind Men and an Elephant is a story of a group of blind men, who have never come across an elephant before and who learn and conceptualize what the elephant is like by touching it. Each blind man feels a different part of the elephant body, but only one part, such as the side or the tusk. They then describe the elephant based on their partial experience and their descriptions are in complete disagreement on what an elephant is. In some versions, they come to suspect that the other person is dishonest and they come to blows. The moral of the parable is that humans have a tendency to project their partial experiences as the whole truth, ignore other people's partial experiences, and one should consider that one may be partially right and may have partial information. There's the "reality is what you make it" and then there's "the reality that is not of your making."

In order to break free from the box that you're in, you first have to realize that there is a box, second, you have to know what is outside the box.

The Man with the X-ray Eyes is a 1963 independently made color science fiction-horror film, where Dr. Xavier develops eye drops intended to increase the range of human vision, allowing one to see beyond the "visible" spectrum into the ultraviolet and x-ray wavelengths and beyond. How real does something have to be, in order to be? Reality is not definitive. All we can do is share the same beliefs on what reality is. You alone can not totally and accurately define reality, because you have nothing to compare your reality too. That is why we need each other. Together we form reality. But when we are separated, reality becomes skewed. So we must reaffirm our realities by communicating more.

Singularitarianism is not going to change our reality, that is the reality that is defined by the laws of nature, it will only make it easier for us to control and to adapt to our reality, which will make life a lot more enjoyable for everyone, and also, it will make our possibilities almost limitless. Superintelligence must be defined by humans first in order to recreate Artificial Intelligence. Technologies are a responsibility that only intelligent people can manage effectively. So Ignorance is our biggest problem.
